Mo Rogha
My favourite blog post of the week.
This is harder than I anticipated. There are so many good posts each week it can be torturous to pick one.
| When? | Who? | What? | Why? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 22/04/2007 | Kav | Top Scary Moments - #1 | A father’s experiences of childbirth, relayed in a way that is personal, emotional, colourful and yet with Kav’s wry humour. |
| 15/04/2007 | Grannymar | Little Time Left | Undeniable proof that global warming is for real. See the pic. |
| 08/04/2007 | The Swearing Lady | Savings on Good Friday | Because it’s a masterfully written rant on energy efficiency with well aimed digs at government inefficiency. Here’s a taste:
Long-life lightbulbs don’t last pissing time. PISSING TIME! And I’m including cider/postlongcarjourney/racehorse pissing times in that one. |
| 01/04/2007 | Sam, Problemchildbride | Lola | Because I love a good yarn. |
| 25/03/2007 | Eolaí gan Fhéile | Irish Conversation in the American Midwest #26 | Simply for these two lines:
-Well, XYZ Transmissions are in the neighborhood, and I just wanted to let you know that we do much more than transmissions |

Fear of the anti-table police. It’a very 21st century fear.
Go raibh maith agat
Jaysis. I didn’t even know it could do tables.
Eolaí - I try to keep up to date.
Kav - I haven’t sussed it fully yet. I need to look into exactly which tags work. There seems to be something like Perl’s HTML::Scrubber (or the PHP equivalent) running which is replacing some tags with others.
If anyone out there knows more about this DON’T tell me. I’ll have much more fun and learn more working it out on my own.
